CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS BEGIN!

I will introduce the words on Monday, Nov. 27 and testing will be on Friday, Dec 1.  Here are the words (10):  not, ten, bed, run, did, pet, good, last, bag, big

Parents:  I told the children today that Western Dress Up Day was tomorrow.  MY MISTAKE.  It is on Wednesday!  My apologies!

We finished our “Franklin the Turtle” read-aloud books and now we will be reading Robert Munsch stories.  Last week we read 4 Robert Munsch stories.  Our discussion focus is making personal connections to the stories. (e.g.  What did this story remind you of?  Did you make any connections to this story?)  Some stories we will answer brief questions and illustrate a portion of the story.  The students are very excited to see how many stories we can read before Christmas!

Just a reminder that this week Wed., Nov 22 is Western Dress Up Day!

The students had a great time skating this past Thursday.  We will be skating again this week Thursday (Nov. 23) at the same time. Thanks to all parents who came out to join us and help tie skates.   Hope to see you there again this week!
