A good week in Grade 1!! The children enjoyed their cozy day and hanging out in their PJs for our yearly Pajama Day. (picture below) In Science, we finished our study of Polar habitats and will begin our study of Ocean habitats. In Socials, we finished learning about our roles, rules, rights and responsibilities in our school community and will begin looking at our roles, rules, rights and responsibilities within our local community. In Math, we continue to learn our addition facts to 20, and will begin a unit on Measurement (time, money, centimeters). In Spelling, we have progressed to 12 words and will be doing a pre-test on Thursdays before the test on Friday. Lots of great learning!
