It was a short week, but we accomplished much! Highlights of the week was our apple tasting, applesauce making and tasting, apple experiment, our first Pizza Day on Tuesday, and Orange Shirt Day on Wednesday. (Pictures below) I hope you are having a safe and enjoyable weekend.

October 11- Thanksgiving- No School
October 13 – Fall colour day dress up: red, orange, yellow, brown, green
October 22 – Pro D Day – No School
- Pizza Day every Tuesday – pre order
- Knight Day every Friday
- I’m working on a field trip for the end of October – waiting on bussing
Chapel: Oct. theme– Getting Rid of the Junk- Becoming a new Creation
Memory Verses: (Please practise at home in addition to daily practise in school)
Due Oct 12 and Oct 19: 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation: the old is gone, the new has come.
Due Oct 26: Revelations 21:4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain.
Reading Club: September Reading Club forms are due, students may return them for a small prizel! October Reading Club forms will be sent out this week.
Author Study: In the month of October, we will begin our first author study of Robert Munsch. If you have any Munsch books at home that you would be willing to lend us, that would be fabulous! Please make sure your name is in the books so we can return them to the correct families!
