–Grade 1 sight words: pg.1-4 sight word booklet
–Grade 2 sight words: pg.1-3 sight word booklet
–Spelling: (short week, short list) Gr. 1: hat, be, am, is, bed Gr 2: white, paper, cut, its, it’s=it is, sick, gave, give, free, back
–Practise Bible verse: Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. 1 Timothy 4:12
–Friday, Oct.23 Pro-D-Day (no school)
- Home Reading – make sure you are reading with your child every night – return their plastic folder with the book, when you have completed 5 days of reading
- Remember to complete your child’s health check every day
- Planners go home and come back to school every day (we will write spelling words in them at the beginning of the week, please don’t do it at home with your child)
- Don’t forget to bring a water bottle every day – no water fountains available
- Homework – when your child misses more than one day of school, I will be sending home a homework folder that has some of the work that they need to catch up on from the days missed. Thanks for your support!
- Comfort Kits – bring them in if you haven’t yet!
